IS WATER CYCLING SUITABLE FOR ME?Emerse Cycle is a high intensity group fitness class aimed at challenging physical fitness. You can work at an intensity that suits you, however, this class is not recommended for individual therapy needs.

IS THE POOL SALT/CHLORINE?Chlorine.

DOES THE BIKE MOVE IN THE POOL?No, the bikes are stationary.

HOW CONFIDENT IN THE WATER DO I NEED TO BE?The maximum depth of the pool is 1.5 metres. All bikes will be set up within the 1.5 metre depth.

WHAT IS THE TEMPERATURE OF THE POOL?30 degrees. The pool is outdoors and undercover.

CAN I DO WATER CYCLING IF I HAVEN’T EXERCISED BEFORE?Yes! You don’t need to be fit to begin water cycling. You have complete control of how hard you work. Water cycling is the ideal form of exercise to start your health and fitness journey.

HOW LONG DOES A SESSION LAST?45 minutes. If it is your first session, you will need to arrive 15 minutes prior to the session starting.

HOW MANY PEOPLE WILL THERE BE IN THE CLASS?10.

WHAT SHOULD I BRING?Comfortable swim wear, drink bottle, towel, waterproof reef shoes.

CAN I RIDE WITHOUT SHOES?No. Footwear is required for the cage pedals on the bikes. Reef water shoes are highly recommended.

I AM CURRENTLY MANAGING AN INJURY, HEALTH CONDITION, AND/OR ARE PRE/POST NATAL, IS IT SAFE FOR ME TO ATTEND?Upon booking your first session you will be required to complete a pre-exercise clearance document which will require you to indicate any acute/chronic health injuries and or conditions. Always check with your doctor before starting a new exercise routine.

How do I access the pool and where do I park?The pool can only be accessed via Willeroo street. There is bus stop (NO.6) on the opposite side of the driveway entrance. You will see a driveway that has '15 speed limit signs' on both sides of the entry, take this entry and your first left where you will see the carpark. Once parked, you will see tennis courts, and on the left of you will see a long pathway. Walk along this path for 200 meters and you will find the pool on your right.

Why should I see an Exercise Physiologist?Finding motivation to exercise can be hard. Having an exercise physiologist come to you, will allow you to exercise in a place that you feel comfortable in, and will ensure you are performing the most suitable exercises to best manage your current health concerns.

When do I need to see my exercise physiologist?This will be dependent on your needs and goals. This will be discussed during your first appointment.

Is my home safe to exercise?Definitely! Emerse will help you to ensure you have a safe space to independently exercise.

Do I need any exercise equipment?Definitely not! We bring all the equipment to you.

What is the Cancellation Policy?Emerse exercise physiology requires a minimum of 24 hours notice if you wish to cancel your appointment. If you cancel a scheduled exercise physiology appointment without providing at least 24 hrs notice a full consult fee will be charged.
